Hunsaker & Associates, an established planning, civil engineering, and surveying firm has an opportunity for an Intermediate Level Hydrologist in our Irvine, California office. Desired skills and experience should include:

  • 5+ years experience in hydrology and urban conveyance system hydraulics, DCV calculations, and hydromodification, water quality treatment and Low Impact Development (LID) analysis
  • Registered engineer desired but not required
  • Must have familiarity and knowledge of current local implementation standards and guidelines such as the County of Orange Model Water Quality Management Plan – Technical Guidance Document (TGD) and Hydromodification Management Plan (HMP) to integrate Best Management Practices (BMPs) into project designs for compliance with Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Systems (MS4s) permit regulations
  • Ability to perform urban hydrology/hydraulics with emphasis in dynamic continuous flow simulation modeling such as SWMM desired
  • Strong verbal and technical writing skills a plus

Hunsaker & Associates, an established planning, civil engineering, and surveying firm is expanding our Planning/Entitlement Processing Staff.  We have an opportunity for a full time Government and Regulatory Permit Processor in our Irvine, California office. Desired skills and experience should include:

  • Knowledge of Standard Entitlement Processes
  • Experience with Construction Permit processing
  • Experience with Building Permit processing
  • Strong written and verbal skills are mandatory

Hunsaker & Associates, an established planning, civil engineering, and surveying firm has an opportunity for an Intermediate Level C#, .NET, Object Model Programmer in our Irvine, California office. Desired skills and experience should include:

  • Intermediate level programming experience using .NET, preferably using C# syntax
  • Ability to find and use .NET libraries posted on SourceForge or other web sites (this means knowing how to figure out the use of the objects provided by the library)
  • Proficiency with windows (should understand the use of the command prompt (DOS) also, as a lot of the automation we do uses batch files)
  • Interest in writing programs that deal with geometric information, and also some that deal with data tracking, such as what is xreffed where.
  • AutoCad experience a plus.

Hunsaker & Associates, an established planning, civil engineering, and surveying firm has an opportunity for a Design Engineer, with experience in Land Development, for our Irvine, California office. Candidate should have the following qualifications:

  • 7+ years proven design experience in – road, stormwater, pavement and subdivisions
  • Knowledge of ????? Design standards.
  • Ideally a licensed Professional Engineer (PE), or someone working towards this.
  • Proven road and drainage design experience utilising ?????.
  • Proven Stormwater and flood studies using Hec-ras, ?????.
  • Hold a University Degree in Engineering.
  • Excellent Communication skills – Verbal and written
  • Team player
  • Current CA Drivers license
